Description
The Daniel Defense MK18 RIII is a factory-built short barreled rifle that brings the MK18 configuration into Daniel Defense's current RIII generation. The 10.3 inch cold hammer forged barrel and carbine-length gas system keep the overall package short and quick to handle, which is the whole point of the MK18 layout for vehicle work, entry-style training, and tight-quarters shooting. Registered as an SBR, it ships ready to run out of the box with a Daniel Defense magazine.
What separates the RIII from earlier MK18 builds is the lighter RIS III M-LOK handguard in FDE and a fully ambidextrous lower receiver. Left-handed shooters get the same control layout as everyone else, and the GRIP-N-RIP charging handle can be worked from either side. Paired with the black anodized receiver set, the two-tone finish is as recognizable as the profile itself.
