I had a great experience purchasing a pistol from Down Range Guns & Ammo. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, and they had a great selection of firearms and accessories available.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to hear what I was looking for. They gave me their honest feedback and opinions on which firearm would be a good fit for me without making me feel pressured into buying anything. I was able to look at several of the options I was interested in, and they also helped me choose an optic and light that worked well with my setup.

What I appreciated most was that they never pressured me into making a decision. They let me take my time and make the choice for myself. They even helped install the optic and light and bore-sighted the pistol for me, which I thought was extremely kind and went above and beyond what I expected.

Overall, I had a really positive experience at Down Range Guns & Ammo. The staff was helpful, respectful, and made the whole purchasing experience comfortable and straightforward. Awesome store. Very clean, decent selection, and lots of used guns. If they don't have something you want in stock, they will help order it. All purchases have been quick and easy, including form 4s. I went to a nearby big box store, had to wait over 75 minutes to be seen. Down range staff saw me immediately. Ben and Elliot are knowledgeable and very friendly. I never feel intimidated by the store staff.

The team and atmosphere at Down Range Guns & Ammo was great! For someone who has been in many of guns shops where the team and atmosphere feels uninviting, that is not the case here. From my initial phone call where the owner answered, to my greeting when I walked through the door is unmatched. Their selection is great, clean and couldn’t have been more inviting when I came through the door.

Elijah couldn’t have been more helpful in walking me through all the options and made me feel comfortable in my quest to buy a 2011. I was not familiar with them and he made the process easy. Super helpful in showing me all my options and was super knowledgeable. Any questions I asked were received and answered.

Elliott (one of the owners) helped me with my trade-ins and was great to work with as well!

The whole experience was fantastic and I will only be doing any of my gun or ammo business through this company. I can’t say enough great things about this team and shop experience!

The only place I could find both muzzle devices and a plan b adapter in the twin cities. Helpful, knowledgeable staff who actually know and seemingly enjoy what they do.
