Description
The Noveske N4 Micro-Switchblock Shorty is a factory-built short-barreled rifle in 5.56 NATO, assembled around Noveske's 10.5-inch barrel and the proprietary Micro-Switchblock gas system. Three gas settings, Unsuppressed, OFF, and Suppressed, let the rifle be tuned to the host configuration rather than overgassed in every condition. Shooters who run a suppressor on a short gas-impingement AR get the most out of this platform, since the gas block does the work that an adjustable mount or buffer swap would otherwise be asked to handle.
Noveske builds the rifle on fourth-generation billet 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers with full ambidextrous controls, so manipulation stays consistent regardless of which hand is driving the gun. The 9.75-inch M-LOK NSR handguard is cut to clear the Micro-Switchblock, keeping the gas selector reachable without pulling rails or hardware. It suits duty-style use, suppressed training, and anyone building a compact 5.56 SBR with components that do not need replacing later.
