Description
The Smith & Wesson M&P15 AXE SBR is a short-barreled 300 Blackout rifle built around suppressed shooting from the start. The 8-inch barrel keeps the package short enough to stay maneuverable with a can mounted, and the Gemtech GVAC gas system addresses the usual complaint with suppressed direct impingement guns by routing excess gas forward instead of back at the shooter. Pair it with subsonic ammunition and a suppressor and the platform does exactly what the cartridge was designed to do.
Shooters running a dedicated suppressor host, or anyone wanting a compact 300 Blackout for vehicle, home, or training use, will find the feature set already sorted. Ambidextrous controls, a Radian Raptor charging handle, a seven-sided Midwest Industries M-LOK handguard, and a Magpul CTR stock come standard, so there is little left to swap out before the first range trip.
