Rearden R2S-HT 5/8×24 Flash Hider, Heat Treat
5 in stock
Description
The Rearden R2S-HT is a 5/8x24 flash hider that doubles as the mounting shoulder for Rearden's Atlas, Atlas XL, and Plan B quick-detach suppressor systems. Rearden machines it from 17-4 PH stainless steel and finishes it with an H900 heat treat, which leaves the gold-tone color that gives the HT version its name. Shooters running a Rearden mount on multiple hosts can keep one device standardized across those rifles and move the can between them with repeatable alignment.
Closed-tine geometry with ports around the body breaks up muzzle flash without the tuning-fork ring that open-tine hiders are known for. The square shoulder provides a clean, consistent shoulder-to-barrel index, which matters when a suppressor is torqued down over it. At roughly 1.74 inches overall and about 1.6 ounces, it adds little weight or length to the end of a barrel.
