KAW VALLEY PRECISION THREAD PROTECTOR Features
The KAW VALLEY PRECISION THREAD PROTECTOR is a simple but useful muzzle component designed to protect exposed 5/8x24 barrel threads when a muzzle device or suppressor is not installed. It helps prevent thread damage during transport, storage, range use, and general handling. This makes it a practical accessory for rifles and other compatible firearms with 5/8x24 threaded barrels.
The thread protector is machined from US steel on Kaw Valley Precision’s in-house Swiss lathe for consistent fit and clean construction. In addition, the ID-bored design helps protect the barrel crown, an area that can affect accuracy if damaged. Integrated wrench flats make installation and removal easier than smooth-sided thread protectors, especially when the part becomes tight after use. The black nitride QPQ finish provides strong wear resistance and pairs well with barrels using similar finishes. Laser engraving also makes the thread pattern easy to identify, giving the KAW VALLEY PRECISION THREAD PROTECTOR a practical, well-finished design for a small but important muzzle part.
