The PSA SABRE-15 MK12 MOD 0 is a precision-oriented AR-15 platform built to replicate the classic MK12 SPR configuration while incorporating modern manufacturing and premium components. Designed around an 18-inch rifle-length gas system, this rifle emphasizes smooth cycling, consistent accuracy, and balanced recoil control. The platform is well suited for precision shooting, training, and designated marksman roles where accuracy and reliability are critical.
The rifle features a stainless 416R barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:7 twist rate, optimized for stabilizing a wide range of modern 5.56 NATO projectiles. The barrel assembly is paired with a PRI Gen III handguard and top rail system that mirrors the traditional MK12 layout while providing a rigid mounting platform for optics and accessories. A PRI flip-up front sight integrated into the gas block maintains the classic SPR profile while offering practical backup sight capability. The muzzle system includes an Otter Creek SPR collar and flash hider configuration designed to support compatibility with AEM-5 and OCM-5 suppressors.
The forged 7075-T6 receivers are finished in FDE Cerakote and built to MIL-SPEC standards for durability and consistent fitment. Internally, the rifle uses a MicroBest-produced Father’s of Freedom bolt carrier group with a Carpenter 158 bolt and Sprinco extractor spring for reliable operation. The rifle is further equipped with a Sabre two-stage trigger with DLC coating for a clean break, along with a Radian Raptor LT charging handle and Radian Talon 45/90 safety selector for improved control and manipulation. Combined with rifle-length buffer components and classic A1 stock geometry, the system delivers stable handling and predictable recoil characteristics.
