Palmetto State Armory PA-15 16″ 5.56 NATO 30rd + Radian BCG
1 in stock
Description
This Pre-Owned Palmetto State Armory PA-15 is a 16-inch 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built on PSA's in-house AR-15 platform, the line that put forged receiver sets and chrome moly vanadium barrels in reach of shooters building out a working carbine. The PA-15 family covers a wide range of 16-inch 5.56 configurations, and this one has already been improved past its factory setup with a Radian Weapons Enhanced bolt carrier group installed in place of the original carrier. One 30-round magazine comes with the rifle.
The appeal here is straightforward. A direct impingement AR-15 in the most common carbine configuration, chambered for a cartridge available everywhere, with an upgraded reciprocating assembly already paid for and fitted. Suits range work, defensive use, training classes, and anyone who wants a solid platform to build from rather than a finished showpiece.
Palmetto State Armory PA-15 Features
- Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers give the rifle the strength and parts compatibility expected from a mil-spec pattern AR-15
- Radian Weapons Enhanced bolt carrier group with a case-hardened 9310 steel bolt and billet 8620 steel carrier, a meaningful step up from a standard carrier in both material quality and finish
- Black nitride treatment on the Radian carrier reduces friction and makes carbon cleanup after a long range session considerably less work
- Full-auto carrier profile adds mass where it helps cycling consistency and keeps the rifle compatible with standard AR-15 internals
- Direct impingement gas system with a 16-inch barrel, the configuration most AR-15 accessories, slings, and optics mounts are designed around
- Accepts standard AR-15 magazines, with one 30-round magazine included
