This Pre-Owned Palmetto State Armory PA-15 is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle built in the classic 20-inch, rifle-length configuration with a detachable mil-spec carry handle. PSA's PA-15 line is the company's core mil-spec AR-15 platform, and this build follows the original service rifle layout rather than the flat-top carbine pattern most shooters see today. Shooters who want iron sights done the traditional way, a longer sight radius, and the softer recoil impulse of a rifle-length gas system will find this configuration familiar.
The 20-inch barrel and rifle-length gas system give 5.56 ammunition more room to work, which shows up in velocity and in how gently the rifle cycles. Forged 7075-T6 receivers, a full-auto profile bolt carrier group, and standard A2 furniture keep the parts count mil-spec and easy to service. The carry handle lifts off the flat-top upper if you decide to mount an optic later. This rifle comes with one 30-round magazine.
