Dead Air Xeno 9mm 3-Prong Flash Hider Features
The Dead Air Xeno 9mm 3-Prong Flash Hider is a compact muzzle device designed to function both as a standalone flash suppressor and as a precision mounting interface for the Dead Air Xeno suppressor system. Built for shooters who prioritize repeatability and secure suppressor mounting, this device uses the Xeno taper mounting system to ensure a solid return to zero and consistent alignment. Its short overall profile keeps additional length and weight to a minimum while maintaining the strength required for hard use.
Constructed from heat-treated 4140 alloy steel and finished in black nitride, the Xeno 3-Prong Flash Hider offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance while reducing the risk of thread galling often associated with untreated stainless muzzle devices. The detuned three-prong design helps mitigate resonance that can occur when firing or handling the rifle, while still effectively reducing visible muzzle flash. The Xeno mounting system uses left-hand threads between the flash hider and suppressor adapter to prevent the adapter from unthreading during suppressor removal. Forward taper geometry allows suppressors to slide off even after extended firing sessions with carbon buildup, reducing maintenance interruptions. Integrated tooling surfaces remain accessible even when a suppressor is installed, allowing shooters to properly torque or remove the device when needed.
