Norinco MAK-90 Sporter 7.62x39mm 10rd + Bulter Creek Sling
1 in stock
Description
This Pre-Owned Norinco MAK-90 Sporter is a Chinese-made, semi-automatic AKM-pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. Norinco built the MAK-90 for the U.S. civilian market with a one-piece wood thumbhole stock and related changes that brought the rifle in line with 1989 import restrictions, which is why it handles a little differently from a standard pistol-grip AK while keeping the same long-stroke gas piston action underneath. It suits shooters who want a classic imported AK in the common, affordable 7.62x39mm chambering for range use, brush hunting, or a utility rifle.
This rifle shows honest handling and use consistent with a Pre-Owned import of this era, with the wood furniture and blued metal intact and the action functional. It comes with one 10-round magazine and a Butler Creek Alaskan Comfort Stretch sling.
Norinco MAK-90 Sporter Features
- Long-stroke gas piston and rotating bolt action, the AKM layout known for running reliably with a wide range of 7.62x39mm ammunition
- One-piece wood thumbhole stock with integral grip that places the firing hand high and supports a steady hold from field positions
- Wood handguards that stay comfortable in cold weather and keep the handling weight forward
- Hooded post front sight paired with an adjustable tangent rear for quick sight acquisition and elevation changes at distance
- Standard AK-pattern magazine well, so the rifle feeds from common detachable box magazines
- Butler Creek Alaskan Comfort Stretch sling included, giving the rifle a ready carry setup out of the case
