Zastava Yugo M59/66A1 SKS 7.62x39mm 7rd + Grenadier Sights

Description
This Pre-Owned Zastava Yugo M59/66A1 is the Yugoslav-built SKS variant chambered in 7.62x39mm, built around an integral 22mm grenade launching spigot at the muzzle and the folding ladder sight that goes with it. Zastava adopted the M59/66 pattern in 1966 by adding the launcher assembly to its Soviet-derived SKS, and the A1 sub-variant that followed around 1970 brought flip-up luminous night sights and a chrome-lined bore. Collectors of Cold War service rifles and shooters who want a milsurp-pattern carbine that still handles well on the range are the natural audience.
This example carries a refurbished stock and shows the folding blade bayonet, grenadier sights, and grenadier muzzle device intact. It was brought in by Sentry Arms, with the importer marking present on the rifle.
Zastava M59/66A1 SKS Features
- Integral 22mm spigot at the muzzle that serves as the grenade launching device and doubles as a permanent muzzle fixture
- Folding ladder-style grenadier sight marked for anti-personnel and anti-tank ranges, which also actuates the gas cutoff when raised
- Standard SKS tangent rear sight paired with flip-up auxiliary night sights for low-light reference, a hallmark of the A1 variant
- Gas-operated tilting bolt action feeding from a fixed internal box magazine that loads quickly from stripper clips
- Folding blade bayonet pinned under the barrel, kept out of the way until it is needed
- Refurbished two-piece wood stock with rubber recoil pad, giving the rifle a clean handling surface and softer shoulder feel
