Century Arms BFT47 7.62x39mm 30rd

Description
This Pre-Owned Century Arms BFT47 is a semi-automatic AK-pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built in the United States as Century's answer to the durability complaints that followed earlier imported and refurbished AK builds. The BFT47 line is built around a forged, bulged front trunnion and a heat-treated stamped steel receiver, the two parts of an AK that take the most abuse over a long service life. It suits the shooter who wants a traditional Kalashnikov layout with modern domestic manufacturing behind it.
The rifle runs the long-stroke gas piston system that gives the platform its reputation for working through dirt, heat, and mixed ammunition. One 30-round magazine is included with this example.
Century Arms BFT47 Features
- Forged and bulged front trunnion anchors the barrel and receiver at the highest-stress point, a construction detail that separates this build from lighter-duty AK variants.
- Heat-treated stamped steel receiver keeps weight down while holding up to sustained use.
- Long-stroke gas piston operation drives the bolt carrier with plenty of authority, which is what keeps AK-pattern rifles cycling when conditions turn ugly.
- Enhanced safety selector includes a bolt hold-open notch, useful for clearing the action or airing out a hot chamber.
- Accepts standard AK-pattern magazines, so feeding it from existing stock is not a problem.
- Manganese phosphate finish on the steel provides a durable, low-glare working surface.
