Description
The CAT ST Super Thug is a 5.56mm suppressor built as a general purpose answer for rifle systems rather than a single barrel length. Where many designs are tuned around one host configuration, the ST uses CAT's SBX internal geometry to manage the sharp pressure spike 5.56 generates across short, mid, and full length barrels. Inconel 718 construction and a low micron DLC finish put it in hard use territory, including sustained strings and shorter hosts where heat and erosion punish lighter materials.
Shooters running a mix of 5.56 uppers, or anyone who wants one can that moves between a short barrel rifle and a carbine, are the obvious fit. The 1.375x24 HUB thread opens it to the broad range of direct thread and quick detach mounts already on the market, so the can adapts to the host instead of the other way around.
