Description
The Otter Creek Labs Universe-36 is a multi-caliber suppressor built around a single idea: one can that mounts to nearly anything in the safe, provided the bullet measures .36 caliber or smaller. That covers rimfire, 9mm pistols and PCCs, 5.56, 7.62 and on up to .338 Lapua, with the manufacturer noting a 24 inch minimum barrel for .338 Lapua use. Construction is DMLS printed Inconel, which is why the Universal .36 carries a full auto rating and handles hard use hosts including belt feds and forced reset triggers.
Back pressure is tuned at the end cap. The suppressor ships with the 9mm low back pressure cap installed, and swapping to a different caliber or back pressure configuration takes nothing more than a socket or an adjustable wrench. The rear uses the standard 1.375x24 HUB thread pattern, so any HUB compatible direct thread adapter, quick detach mount, three lug or pistol booster will work. A mount is not included, which lets the buyer match the host without paying for hardware they already own.
