IWI Galil ACE Gen2 SBR 8.3″ 7.62x39mm 30rd, Black

Description
The IWI Galil ACE Gen2 SBR is a short-barreled rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built on the long-stroke gas piston action that gave the original Galil its reputation for running dirty and running anyway. The 8.3-inch barrel keeps the package tight for vehicle work, training courses, and indoor range use, while the Gen2 updates bring the controls and ergonomics in line with modern expectations.
Shooters already familiar with AK-pattern rifles will find the manual of arms immediately recognizable, since the right-side selector retains the traditional lever shape. The left-side thumb safety lets the firing hand work the selector without breaking a firing grip, a worthwhile upgrade for anyone coming off an AR platform. Suppressor users and SBR builders tend to gravitate toward this configuration for the short, controllable package it delivers in a full-power intermediate cartridge.
IWI Galil ACE Gen2 SBR Features
- Long-stroke gas piston operation with a rotating bolt, the same durable action lineage that made the Galil family known for reliability in harsh conditions
- Free-floating cold hammer forged barrel that supports consistent accuracy and long service life under sustained fire
- Left-side thumb safety selector allowing the shooter to manipulate the safety without shifting the firing grip
- Right-side AK styled selector lever retained for shooters trained on traditional AK controls
- Folding mechanism that accepts AR-15 receiver extension stocks and braces, opening up a wide range of aftermarket fitment options
- 8.3-inch barrel length that keeps the rifle maneuverable in tight quarters and compact when the stock is folded
