DEADAIR KeyMo FLASH HIDER Features
The DEADAIR KeyMo FLASH HIDER is a suppressor-compatible muzzle device designed for strong flash reduction and use with Dead Air KeyMo mounting systems. It gives compatible 5/8x24 threaded rifle barrels a durable .30 caliber flash hider that can be run suppressed or unsuppressed. The design is well suited for duty rifles, training carbines, hunting rifles, and suppressor hosts that need dependable KeyMo lockup.
The equal-length, mass-shifted tine design helps disrupt and cool burning gases before they ignite outside the muzzle. In addition, the geometry is designed to reduce the ringing or “ping” commonly associated with many open-prong flash hiders. Precision machining supports consistent suppressor alignment and secure mounting with KeyMo-equipped suppressors. The 4140 heat-treated alloy steel construction provides strength for hard use, while the black nitride finish adds wear and corrosion resistance.
