Description
The CANIK VOID-9 is a 9mm pistol suppressor built in partnership with Otter Creek Labs and additive manufactured from Grade 5 titanium. At 6 inches long and 7.5 ounces, it sits in the weight class where a full-size can does not drag down the muzzle of a handgun, which matters on a tilting-barrel pistol that has to cycle reliably with the extra mass up front. The integrated booster assembly ships with a 1/2x28 piston, Nielsen device spring, and retainer, so there are no separate mount purchases before the first range trip.
Two end caps come in the box, and swapping them changes the character of the can. The solid cap favors maximum sound reduction for range work, while the vented cap bleeds off back pressure for competition stages or high-volume strings where gas in the face becomes the limiting factor. Rear threads follow the Alpha 1.125x28 pattern, which opens the VOID-9 up to a wide field of PCC and rifle mounts beyond its pistol role.
