It functions as an open-face version of Dillon Rifle Co.’s Jalapeño suppressor cover concept, giving shooters a flat barrier for hot suppressors, barrels, rifles, and other equipment after heavy use. This makes it a practical range accessory for anyone who wants to protect gear and surfaces from heat damage.
The felted carbon interior is designed to resist temperatures up to 1800 degrees, using heat-management technology adapted from high-temperature firearm applications. In addition, the 20-inch by 12-inch layout gives the mat enough surface area for hot suppressors, rifle components, or other range gear. The cotton side can also serve as a general work surface when heat protection is not needed. A durable exterior and custom woven nylon webbing support regular field, range, and bench use.
