SOLGW MK1 CAR PISTOL Features
SOLGW MK1 CAR PISTOL is a purpose-built 11.5-inch 5.56 NATO platform engineered around Sons of Liberty Gun Works’ billet MK1 receiver set and performance-driven component selection. Designed as a compact fighting configuration, this pistol integrates a medium contour “Recce” barrel with P3 polygonal rifling and a carbine-length gas system to balance reliability and shootability. The conservative gas port sizing and A5 length buffer system work together to manage recoil impulse while maintaining consistent cycling under varied ammunition conditions.
The MK1-specific 10.75-inch rail system features a continuous M1913 Picatinny top rail, integrated cable management, laser texturing, and seven-sided M-LOK slot geometry for modular accessory placement. An extended titanium barrel nut with heat-resistant coating enhances durability and thermal management. The billet upper and lower incorporate functional refinements including an integral trigger guard, enlarged magazine well and fencing, optimized bolt catch geometry, and revised forward assist placement for improved charging handle clearance. Premium internal components include an NP3-coated bolt carrier group, Liberty two-stage trigger with a 4.5-pound combined pull, Liberty charging handle with small latches, Badger ambidextrous selector, and SOLGW A5 receiver extension with A5H2 buffer and stainless action spring. The platform is completed with a B5 grip and SBA5 brace, and each unit is individually built and test-fired.
