The Shadow Systems DR920L Elite is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm pistol built on the company's Glock-pattern platform with an extended 5.31-inch slide and barrel. The added length stretches the sight radius and shifts a bit of mass forward, which helps settle the muzzle between shots without turning the gun into a competition-only build. Shooters who want a duty-size pistol for range work, USPSA Carry Optics, or home defense will find the long slide format does the most for them.
Machining is where this model separates itself from a standard service pistol. The slide carries window cuts and front and rear serrations, the barrel is fluted with a bronze finish, and the frame comes undercut at the trigger guard with an aggressive texture pattern. Factory tritium front night sight and serrated rear sight are installed, and the optic cut accepts common micro red dots.
