The SPRINGFIELD LEGACY 1911 MIL-SPEC carries forward the traditional G.I.-inspired 1911 design while incorporating modern manufacturing standards and durable materials. Built around a forged carbon steel frame and slide, this full-size 1911 maintains the classic Government profile with a 5-inch barrel and single-action operating system. The parkerized finish provides corrosion resistance and a subdued appearance suited for defensive or range use. True to its heritage, the pistol features a short military-style trigger, arched mainspring housing, and spurred hammer for an authentic 1911 feel.
A forged stainless steel match-grade barrel with a 1:16 twist rate supports consistent accuracy and dependable lockup.
