Description
This Pre-Owned Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator is a full-size, all-steel .45 ACP pistol built around Springfield's Tactical Response Pistol package, a duty-oriented take on the Government-pattern 1911. The Operator designation points to the integral accessory rail on the dust cover, which lets a weapon light ride on the frame without a clamp-on adapter. It suits shooters who want a serious-use 1911 with night sights and a tuned trigger already in place rather than a base gun waiting on upgrades.
The satin stainless finish, fixed Trijicon tritium sights, and ambidextrous thumb safety carry over from the standard TRP spec. This example comes with its original case, two magazines, an OWB holster, and a two-slot magazine holster.
Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator Features
- Integral accessory rail machined into the frame dust cover for mounting a light on a duty or home-defense setup
- Fixed Trijicon tritium night sights that stay usable in low light without batteries or adjustment screws to drift
- Ambidextrous thumb safety paired with the standard 1911 grip safety, workable for left-handed shooters and support-hand drills
- Lightweight speed trigger and delta hammer for a clean, consistent single-action break
- Titanium firing pin, a common duty-gun measure for inertial safety
- Satin stainless steel frame and slide that give the pistol its weight and recoil-absorbing heft in .45 ACP
