Description
This Pre-Owned Cabot Guns Vintage Classic 1911 is a full-size Government pattern pistol in 45 ACP, built by Cabot from 416 stainless steel billet rather than castings or forgings. The Vintage Classic sits in Cabot's line as the pistol that carries traditional 1911 proportions while leaning on modern billet machining and hand fitting throughout. Shooters who want a 5-inch 45 with match-grade fit and want it to look the part on the range or in a collection are the audience here.
This example wears Walnut Fibonacci grips, the Cabot Tristar aluminum trigger, and a right-hand thumb safety. Two 8-round magazines accompany the pistol.
Cabot Guns Vintage Classic 1911 Features
- Frame and slide machined from 416 stainless steel billet, which gives the pistol its density and the tight slide-to-frame relationship Cabot is known for
- Hand-fit 5-inch match grade barrel with a crown cut, flush fit muzzle and polished feed ramp for consistent accuracy and reliable feeding
- Cabot Tristar aluminum trigger paired with a beavertail grip safety for a light, repeatable press and a high, comfortable firing grip
- Walnut Fibonacci grips cut in Cabot's signature pattern, a departure from standard checkering that still gives the hand something to hold onto
- Rhombus cut 24 LPI front strap checkering and a checkered billet mainspring housing to keep the pistol planted under recoil
- Lowered and flared ejection port with rear and top slide serrations for clean ejection and sure handling during manipulations
