Smith & Wesson Model 66 US Border Patrol 357 Magnum 6rd, SS

Description
This Pre-Owned Smith & Wesson Model 66 US Border Patrol revolver is a stainless K-frame .357 Magnum produced to mark the 50th anniversary of the United States Border Patrol, 1924 to 1974. The Model 66 arrived in 1970 as the stainless counterpart to the Model 19 Combat Magnum, and this commemorative run kept that same working-gun layout: 4-inch barrel, six-round cylinder, double and single action lockwork. Special barrel and frame markings tied to the Border Patrol anniversary set it apart from standard production guns of the era.
The revolver wears Goncalo Alves target grips and comes with its original wooden presentation case. It suits collectors of commemorative Smith & Wesson revolvers, Border Patrol memorabilia, and anyone who appreciates an early stainless K-frame magnum that still handles like the service revolver it was based on.
Smith & Wesson Model 66 US Border Patrol Features
- Commemorative barrel and frame markings honoring the Border Patrol's 1924 to 1974 anniversary, including the agency badge and a USBP-prefixed commemorative number
- Stainless steel construction throughout, giving the corrosion resistance that made the Model 66 popular with duty carry shooters
- 4-inch pinned barrel on the medium K-frame, a balance of sight radius and carry weight that handles .357 Magnum recoil without feeling muzzle heavy
- Red ramp front sight paired with a white outline micro-adjustable rear for fast pickup and the ability to tune point of impact to a given load
- Recessed chambers in the six-round cylinder, an early production detail that enclosed the cartridge heads
- Goncalo Alves target grips that fill the hand and spread recoil across a larger surface during magnum loads
