Description
This Pre-Owned Ruger Gunsite Scout is a bolt action rifle chambered in .308 Win, built around the scout rifle concept of a short, handy, quick-handling general purpose rifle. The 17-inch barrel keeps the overall package compact without giving up much velocity, and the detachable box magazine feeds faster than a traditional blind magazine setup. It suits hunters working thick country, ranch and truck gun duty, and shooters who want one rifle that covers a lot of ground.
Iron sights are standard, with a forward mounted Picatinny rail for a long eye relief scope and an integral optics base on the receiver for conventional scope rings. This example includes two 10-round magazines.
