Description
Winchester Model 141 Bolt-Action .22 Rimfire Rifle
This Pre-Owned Winchester Model 141 is a tube-fed bolt-action rimfire chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle, built during the Model 121 family's run from the late 1960s into the early 1970s as Winchester's budget-minded repeater. What separates the 141 from its siblings is the magazine tube that loads through the buttstock instead of a detachable box, a layout that keeps the lines clean and the rifle simple to feed. It suits plinking, small game, and teaching new shooters the fundamentals on an honest wood-and-steel platform.
This example wears a blued finish on a wood stock and comes with the original inner magazine tube assembly, so it is configured as the repeater Winchester intended rather than a single-shot. Expect the handling marks and finish wear typical of a working rimfire of this age.
Winchester Model 141 Features
- Buttstock-mounted tubular magazine that holds a useful reserve of .22 ammunition without a protruding box magazine
- Chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle, letting you match the load to the task from quiet backyard practice to small game
- 21-inch barrel that gives the rimfire cartridge room to work and stretches the sight radius for iron-sight shooting
- Grooved receiver for standard tip-off scope rings, an easy upgrade path if you want magnified glass
- Open adjustable rear sight paired with a ramped front blade for quick zero changes at common rimfire distances
- Side thumb safety and dual spring-steel extractors that double as bolt guides, keeping the action straightforward and reliable
