This Pre-Owned CZ 457 Hunter Veil is a bolt-action rimfire rifle built on CZ's 457 receiver and dressed in a Veil camo soft-touch polymer stock with a bronze PVD metal finish. The 457 line replaced the long-running 455 with a shorter 60-degree bolt throw, a push-to-fire safety, and a receiver profiled for the standard 11mm dovetail, and the Hunter Veil configuration leans toward field and small game use rather than benchrest work. Hunters, squirrel and rabbit shooters, and anyone wanting a serious .22 LR trainer will find the layout familiar.
This rifle comes set up to shoot, with a 6-24x44 riflescope already mounted and two 5-round magazines included. The threaded muzzle keeps the door open for suppressor use or other muzzle hardware down the road.
