The Kimber 2K11 Comp OR is a double stack 2011-pattern 9mm pistol built on a stainless steel frame with a black DLC steel sub-frame, finished here in Coyote PVD on the slide. The 5-inch configuration pairs a fluted, ramped stainless barrel with a compensated setup and an optic-ready slide, putting it squarely in the competition and range-driven end of Kimber's lineup. Shooters moving from a single stack 1911 to a higher capacity platform get the familiar grip angle and trigger feel with a wider magazine well underneath.
Kimber builds the gun around a GT match grade aluminum trigger with a 3 to 4 pound pull, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a tapered Stan Chen magwell for faster reloads. The pistol ships with two magazines and an optic adapter plate cut for the RMR footprint.
