Description
This Pre-Owned American Defense UIC MOD-2 SBR is a short barreled rifle built on American Defense Manufacturing's billet AR platform, chambered in .223 Wylde with a 12.5 inch barrel and finished in FDE. The UIC line was designed around fully ambidextrous controls and tight receiver fitment, putting it in the duty and training category rather than the budget carbine shelf. Shooters who run the gun from either shoulder, or who want a compact host with quality internals already in place, are the natural audience.
This example is accompanied by its original box and one 30-round magazine.
American Defense UIC MOD-2 SBR Features
- Fully ambidextrous lower controls, including a Talon safety selector, left side magazine release, and a right side bolt catch and release lever, so the rifle runs the same from either side.
- Billet aluminum upper and lower receivers with an integral tension adjusting screw, taking slop out of the receiver fit for a solid feel under recoil.
- Criterion 4150 CMV nitrided barrel in .223 Wylde with a 1 in 8 twist, a chambering that handles both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington while favoring heavier bullet weights.
- Geissele G2S trigger paired with an ADM HD buffer, a combination that cleans up the break and keeps the shorter gas system civil.
- Raptor ambidextrous charging handle and a QPQ nitride bolt carrier group for smooth cycling and easy cleanup.
- M-LOK handguard and Surefire Warcomp muzzle device, giving flexible accessory mounting along with flash reduction and a suppressor mounting interface.
