The CZ Shadow 2 Compact is the aluminum-framed, shortened interpretation of CZ's competition-bred Shadow 2 line, built to carry the same trigger feel and grip geometry into a package that works for concealment and everyday practical shooting. This example wears the Strawberry Jam finish treatment, a cosmetic variant of the standard Compact. A forged 7075 aluminum alloy frame trims weight to roughly 30 ounces unloaded, which is a meaningful difference from the steel-framed full-size Shadow 2 without giving up the low bore axis and high grip that CZ shooters expect.
Shooters coming from a full-size Shadow 2 will recognize the DA/SA trigger and CZ-75 pattern controls immediately. The optics-ready slide and fiber-optic front sight give it room to serve as a carry gun, a range gun, or an entry into competition divisions that allow a mounted red dot. Two 15-round magazines are included.
