This Pre-Owned Walther P1 is a 9mm, DA/SA service pistol built on the wartime P38 design with a lightweight aluminum alloy frame in place of the original steel. Adopted by the West German Bundeswehr in 1963, the P1 served for decades as a standard military sidearm, and surplus examples remain a popular entry point for collectors of Cold War era European service pistols. This one carries PW Arms import marking and comes with three 8-round magazines.
Handling is classic P38: a long double-action first shot, a crisp single-action follow-up, and a slide-mounted lever that drops the hammer and blocks the firing pin. The 5-inch barrel and locking block action give it steady, controllable recoil for a pistol of this weight.
