Description
The Trijicon MRO SD is a 1x25 miniature reflex sight built around a 2 MOA green dot, positioned as the optically refined version of the original MRO without changing the mounting footprint shooters already run. Trijicon reworked the objective lens and coatings so the dot stays tight and clean when a magnifier sits behind it, and the 25mm objective keeps the viewing window wide enough to cut down on the tube effect common to small reflex sights.
Carbines, duty rifles, and defensive shotguns are the natural homes for this one. Eight brightness settings cover bright daylight down through two night vision compatible levels, and the sealed, nitrogen-filled housing handles weather and submersion without babysitting. Shooters who want one sight that works bare, behind glass, or with a PVS-series device will find the green dot easy to pick up against varied backgrounds.
Trijicon MRO SD Features
- Re-engineered objective lens with upgraded coatings produces a crisp 2 MOA green dot that holds its shape when paired with a magnifier
- 25mm objective and generous viewing window speed up target acquisition and reduce the boxed-in feel of smaller reflex optics
- Ambidextrous brightness dial lets left- and right-handed shooters adjust illumination without breaking a firing grip
- Capless, sub-flush windage and elevation adjusters eliminate lost caps and snag points while guarding against accidental zero shifts
- Forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing, fully sealed and nitrogen purged, stands up to recoil, impact, and submersion to 100 feet
- Single CR2032 cell runs roughly three years of continuous use at a midrange daylight setting
