Ruger Vaquero Single Action .45 Colt 6rd, Polished Stainless
1 in stock
Description
This Pre-Owned Ruger Vaquero is a fixed-sight single action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, built on Ruger's original full-size frame that preceded the smaller New Vaquero line introduced in 2005. Ruger brought the Vaquero out in 1993 as a traditional-looking cowboy revolver with modern internals, pairing New Model Blackhawk strength with the clean lines and fixed sights of the old Single Action Army pattern. The 5.5-inch barrel and polished stainless finish make it a natural fit for cowboy action shooting, field and trail use, or anyone who simply prefers a classic single action in a serious caliber.
This example wears Ruger wood grips and also includes a set of synthetic grips with the white eagle emblem, so the look can be changed without hunting down spares. The original box is included as well.
Ruger Vaquero Features
- Original full-size Blackhawk-pattern frame handles .45 Colt pressures with a substantial, steady feel in recoil
- Transfer bar safety mechanism allows the revolver to be carried with all six chambers loaded
- Fixed blade front and notch rear sights keep the sight picture simple and snag-free for holster work
- Polished stainless construction resists corrosion and gives the gun its bright, traditional appearance
- Single action lockwork with a loading gate and ejector rod follows the familiar Single Action Army manual of arms
- Two grip sets, Ruger wood and white eagle synthetic, let the shooter match the revolver to personal taste or match dress
