Description
The Nighthawk Custom Sand Hawk is a 9mm double-stack 1911 built from billet steel and hand fit by a single gunsmith, positioned at the top of Nighthawk's high capacity lineup. The 17 round configuration pairs a full-length dust cover with a single port compensator, giving the pistol a forward weight bias that keeps the sights settled during fast strings. Shooters who want a competition oriented build with custom shop fitting, rather than a production gun with aftermarket parts, are the target audience here.
Visually it stands apart from a standard 1911. A tri-tone treatment combines Flat Dark Earth Cerakote with tan anodize on the aluminum grip, and a 14k gold bead sits at the front of the slide for a bright, immediate aiming reference. The Interchangeable Optic System lets an owner run a red dot without permanently altering the slide.
