MODTAC U-RAC SUPPRESSOR SHIELD Features
The MODTAC U-RAC SUPPRESSOR SHIELD is a suppressor shield built for shooters who want better heat control and less visual mirage around a suppressed rifle. It mounts to a compatible rail instead of wrapping directly around the suppressor. As a result, it helps protect the shooter while keeping the setup cleaner and more purpose-built. This 5.0-inch version fits suppressors up to 1.700 inches in diameter.
The MODTAC U-RAC SUPPRESSOR SHIELD uses a free-floating, air-gapped design to manage heat without trapping it against the suppressor. In addition, it mounts through a Picatinny rail grabber that works with standard AR-15, SIG MCX/MPX, HK416, and AR-10 rails. MODTAC also builds it with a lightweight aluminum coupler and a high-temp carbon fiber outer shield. The system supports the Unity Tactical FUSION folding front sight as well. Together, these features make the MODTAC U-RAC a practical option for shooters who want rigid suppressor protection with a clean rail-mounted setup.
