The Microtech Stitch Automatic Signature SERIES Plague is a side-opening automatic folder built around a push-button deployment system, carrying the Plague Outbreak treatment across the blade and handle. The Stitch design came out of a collaboration between Microtech's Tony Marfione and custom maker Sebastijan Berenji of Borka Blades, and it keeps the heavy, squared-off profile associated with Berenji's work while staying a production piece made in the USA.
Blade duty falls to Bohler M390MK stainless, ground to a spear point with a plain edge. It suits collectors drawn to Microtech's Signature Series finishes as much as it does anyone who wants a stout automatic for daily carry, and the textured aluminum handle with its Plague Doctor graphic makes this one of the more distinctive runs in the Stitch lineup.
