Description
The Magpul CTR Carbine Stock is a six-position collapsible buttstock built for M4 and AR15 carbines running mil-spec diameter receiver extensions, finished here in Flat Dark Earth. It takes the basic MOE-style carbine stock and adds a friction lock that clamps the stock against the buffer tube, removing the rattle that comes standard on most GI-pattern stocks. Shooters who want a lightweight, no-nonsense stock with a stable cheek weld and solid sling options will find this one does the job without adding bulk.
Construction is reinforced polymer with a rubber butt-pad, and the A-frame profile shields the adjustment lever so it does not catch on gear or slings. Sling attachment is handled by an ambidextrous QD swivel socket, 1.25-inch loops on both sides, and a toe lanyard hole. A mil-spec 1.14-inch O.D. buffer tube is required; the tube, action spring, and buffer are not included.
