The LMT MARS-L STRIPPED AR-15 LOWER RECEIVER is engineered around the Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System (MARS) architecture to deliver fully integrated ambidextrous controls in a precision-machined platform. Designed for use with 5.56 NATO and compatible AR-pattern calibers, this lower incorporates ambidextrous safety selector capability, magazine release, and bolt catch and release mechanisms directly into the receiver. These controls are machined as part of the receiver body, enhancing durability and ensuring ergonomic function without relying on add-on components.
The enhanced flared magazine well supports faster reloads and improved insertion under stress. The stripped configuration ships with LMT’s proprietary ambidextrous controls pre-installed, allowing builders to complete the receiver with their preferred internal components and upper assemblies.
