Description
This Pre-Owned Pointer 1000 Field is a 12 gauge over/under shotgun built in Turkey and imported by Legacy Sports International, positioned as a straightforward field gun for upland birds, small game, and casual clays. The 28 inch barrel pair with a 3 inch chamber covers most common field loads, and the blued barrels paired with a silver-toned engraved receiver give it the traditional look expected from a break-action bird gun.
Checkered Turkish walnut and a boxlock frame keep the handling familiar for anyone who has carried a double before. Hunters looking for a dependable walking gun, and shooters stepping into the over/under world without a competition budget, are the natural fit here.
Pointer 1000 Field Features
- Over/under break action with a single selective trigger, letting the shooter pick which barrel fires first for mixed choke setups
- 28 inch chrome-moly lined barrels chambered for 3 inch shells, a practical length for walking fields and swinging on flushing birds
- Raised ventilated rib topped with a fiber-optic front sight for faster target acquisition in low light and heavy cover
- Interchangeable choke tubes allow the pattern to be matched to the bird and the range being worked
- Checkered Turkish walnut stock and forend provide grip in wet weather and a classic field profile
- Silver-toned receiver with duck scene engraving contrasts against the blued barrels for a traditional double gun appearance
