The Kimber 2K11 Pro Comp OR Fix is a double stack 1911 chambered in 9mm, built around a 4.25-inch Pro length slide with a compensator machined directly into the slide and barrel rather than hung off the muzzle. That integrated port works against muzzle rise without adding length or a separate device to track, which keeps the gun balanced for competition stages, range work, and duty-style drills. Kimber hand fits these at the bench, and the carbon fiber and glass matrix grip module keeps the weight reasonable for a steel-framed high capacity pistol.
Shooters coming from a single stack 1911 will recognize the trigger geometry and the bumped grip safety, with the obvious upgrade being 19 rounds on board and a Stan Chen Customs magwell to speed reloads. The slide is cut for an optic and ships with an RMR adapter plate, so a red dot can go on without machine work. A TAG FiberLok 2 fiber optic front sight pairs with a fixed rear cover plate, and spare red and black inserts are included.
