The KIMBER 1911 DS WARRIOR LW [OR] is an optics-ready double-stack 1911-style pistol built around Kimber’s American-made 1911 platform. It combines a lightweight aluminum sub-frame with a carbon fiber grip module to create a full-size pistol that balances strength, control, and reduced carry weight. Designed for users who want classic 1911 ergonomics with modern capacity, accessory support, and optic compatibility, it brings Kimber’s hand-fitted approach into a performance-focused double-stack format.
The stainless steel slide uses front and rear serrations for confident manipulation from multiple positions. In addition, the pistol includes a Picatinny rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories. The TAG cover plate with fixed rear sight gives the slide a clean factory setup, while the included C&H RMR optic mounting plate supports a more modern red-dot configuration. The night front sight adds practical visibility in reduced-light conditions. Internally, the mil-spec guide rod, internal extractor, and bushing barrel with deep crown all support the pistol’s traditional 1911 operating layout. The GT Performance Trigger provides a refined trigger system with a factory pull range suited to controlled, accurate shooting.
