The Kershaw Livewire 9000DECFDAM is a USA-made dual-action out-the-front automatic knife built around a Damascus steel double-edge dagger blade. Co-designed with custom maker Matt Diskin, the Livewire platform brought Kershaw into the OTF automatic category with a slider that fires and retracts the blade from the same control. This Damascus and carbon fiber variant sits at the dressier end of that line while keeping the same working format.
Handle construction is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with a carbon fiber inlay, which keeps the knife at roughly 2.9 ounces despite the all-metal chassis. It suits anyone who wants a fast-deploying daily carry blade with some visual character, whether that is an EDC rotation piece or a collection addition.
