Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 11″ Pistol 5.56 NATO 30rd, Black
1 in stock
Description
The Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 Pistol is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO pistol built on the same short-stroke gas piston operating system that made the HK416 famous. Instead of routing hot gas and carbon back into the receiver the way a direct impingement AR does, the piston drives an operating rod against the bolt carrier, keeping the action cooler and cleaner over long strings of fire. The 11-inch barrel keeps the package short without giving up the velocity and accuracy shooters expect from an HK barrel.
This configuration suits shooters who want a compact AR pistol that runs like a duty gun, whether that means running in a braced pistol configuration or a future SBR build. The adjustable gas regulator lets you tune the gun for suppressed or unsuppressed use, and the ambi controls make it equally workable for left-handed shooters. One 10rd magazine and one 30rd magazine are included.
Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 Features
- Short-stroke gas piston operating system that keeps carbon fouling out of the receiver and reduces cleaning time between range sessions
- Adjustable gas regulator for tuning the rifle to suppressed or unsuppressed fire, which helps control gas blowback and bolt speed
- Fully ambidextrous safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch for consistent manipulation from either shoulder
- 11-inch HK barrel that keeps the gun maneuverable in tight quarters while retaining useful accuracy and velocity
- Free-floating handguard with rail space for lights, lasers, optics, and support-hand accessories
- Broad AR-pattern accessory compatibility, so optics, grips, and handguard attachments can be swapped to fit the job
