Overview
The Faxon Firearms Duty Series Threaded Barrel is a premium drop-in replacement for Glock® 17 Gen 2-4 pistols. Designed for shooters who want enhanced durability and suppressor-ready capability, this barrel strengthens your platform with precision machining, a threaded muzzle, and a tough nitride finish.
Performance & Design
This barrel is machined from stress-relieved 4150 CMV steel and finished with a full salt bath nitride coating to improve lubricity, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. As a result, it offers duty-grade performance and long-term reliability. In addition, the barrel’s conventional rifling stabilizes 9mm projectiles, including cast lead and heavy bullets, making it versatile for range use and custom builds.
The threaded 1/2×28 muzzle is ready to accept suppressors, compensators, or thread protectors, giving shooters flexibility for a wide range of applications. Better-than-OEM tolerances ensure a tight lockup and consistent accuracy when installed in a factory Glock® slide.
