The Cat SC-B1 Street Crack is a two-piece modular 9mm suppressor built specifically for tilt-barrel semi-automatic handguns. The rear section can be removed to run the can short when size and balance matter, or left in place for the longer configuration when sound reduction is the priority. One serialized suppressor covers both roles, which makes it a sensible pick for a carry-size pistol that also sees range and training time.
C.A.T. built the SC around the pressure curve of 9x19 from typical handgun barrel lengths, and the included booster assembly is tuned to the weight of the suppressor so the host pistol cycles correctly. This is a dedicated handgun can rather than a do-everything host-swapping design, so plan on pistol duty. The 9mm bore also accommodates smaller common pistol and revolver chamberings such as 380 ACP and 38 Special on suitable threaded hosts, though cycling and booster function are only tuned for 9mm semi-autos.
Cat SC-B1 Street Crack Features
- Removable second section lets the suppressor run at 5.5 inches for a shorter, lighter package or 7.5 inches when maximum suppression is the goal
- Titanium construction keeps the long configuration at 9.5 ounces and the short configuration at 7.5 ounces, which limits the load hanging off the muzzle and slide
- Precision-tuned booster assembly, sometimes called a Nielsen device, allows the barrel to tilt and unlock normally so the pistol cycles reliably with the added muzzle weight
- 1.40 inch diameter stays slim enough to clear most suppressor-height sights without crowding the sight picture
- DLC finish in black provides a hard, low-friction surface that stands up to carbon and cleaning
- Includes a 1/2x28 piston, the standard thread pattern on the majority of threaded 9mm pistol barrels
