Description
The Browning BPS Field is a pump action 12 gauge shotgun built around a steel receiver and the bottom ejection layout that has defined the BPS line since its introduction. Shells load and eject through the bottom of the receiver, which keeps the sight picture clear of flying hulls and makes the gun equally comfortable for right and left handed shooters. This Field configuration wears a full Mossy Oak New Break-Up finish across the barrel, receiver, and composite stock, pairing a 26 inch barrel with a 3 inch chamber for turkey, waterfowl, and general field work.
Hunters who want a concealment pattern on a traditional pump gun are the obvious audience here. The top tang safety falls under the thumb regardless of hand dominance, and the dual action bars keep the slide stroke straight and free of binding when the gun is worked quickly.
