Description
The Benelli Nova 3 is a 28-inch pump-action 12 gauge built on Benelli's shell-loading polymer receiver design, updated with a 3-inch chamber and a shortened cycling stroke. The reworked geometry cuts roughly 14 percent off the pump travel, which keeps follow-up shots quicker without asking for a longer reach from the shooting hand. It is a straightforward do-everything shotgun, equally at home on a waterfowl marsh, in a turkey blind, on a clay course, or behind a bedroom door.
This example is configured with black synthetic furniture and the standard 28-inch barrel, a length that suits swinging on flushing birds and breaking clays. Benelli's poly-mod construction keeps weight reasonable and shrugs off weather that would leave wood and blued steel needing attention.
Benelli Nova 3 Features
- Shortened pump stroke from the 3-inch chamber design, letting the action cycle faster with less hand movement
- M4-style bolt face that improves feeding and extraction consistency across shell types
- Poly-mod receiver and stock construction that stands up to wet, muddy, and salt-air hunting conditions
- Magazine cutoff button on the underside of the forend for loading or unloading the chamber while holding shells in the magazine
- Ergonomically patterned grip surfaces that hold onto gloved or wet hands
- Crisp trigger and 28-inch barrel pairing that favors smooth swings on moving targets
