The SP2 Mod 1 uses a chrome-lined 5R barrel with a Mag Phos finish for long-term use. In addition, the RS Gas Manifold System lets the shooter run the gas fully open or fully closed. The gas block can also be serviced while it remains installed on the firearm. Also, the redesigned handguard system allows faster removal for cleaning or service. Because the pistol uses hardcoat anodizing under the Cerakote finish, it gives the exterior added wear protection during regular use.
