The Magpul QDM Quick-Detatch Sling Swivel is a heavy-duty sling attachment component designed as an upgrade over standard push-button QD swivels. It provides a lower-profile sling connection point with one-handed operation and a secure dual-tab release system. This makes it a practical option for rifles, carbines, and sling setups that need reliable attachment with reduced risk of accidental release.
The high-strength bale rotates freely while helping canalize the sling webbing to reduce rollover and twisting during movement. In addition, the custom QD design is built for 1-1/4 inch sling webbing and fits standard-sized QD cups. Dual side release tabs require intentional pressure from both sides, helping prevent unintended detachment during field use or training. The Melonite-finished steel construction provides strength along with strong wear and corrosion resistance. When paired with a Magpul MS1 Sling or MS1 MS4 Adapter, the Magpul QDM Quick-Detatch Sling Swivel gives shooters a durable, low-profile sling connection system for modern rifle setups.
